Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Observer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2011 at Naval Academy.




Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1988 to 01 July 1992; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications: (a) A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 65% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.



SSC: Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA and Naval Academy Examination, 2011 on 17th April, 2011 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for the 127th Course and 89th Naval Academy Course commencing from December 30th 2011.




Eligibility:

Age: 16 and half to 19 years i.e. born between 02/01/1993 and 01/07/1995

Educational Qualification:

•for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

•For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects

•Candidates who are appearing in the 12th exam can also apply.

•Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Procedure:

Either Apply Online upto 15/11/2010 or send application Offline to the "Controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier .



Fee: Rs.50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee). Those who are applying online, need to pay only Rs.25/- eithher by cash in any SBI branch or by Online through Net Banking or Online by Credit/Debit Card.
